This past Thursday we went on a field trip to the Hutchings Museum. We had a fantastic time! The museum included six different sections about Utah: birds and other animals, rocks and minerals, fossils, pioneer life, Native Americans, and the Wild West. As a class, we decided the Wild West room was our favorite (they even put the students in a jail cell! :) At the same time, each of the sections was so interesting and very hands on.
A special congratulations to all of the fourth graders at Mapleton Elementary--the museum guides said they have never had such an outstanding group!
